Alex Armand Killed by an 18-Wheeler in an Accident on Interstate 35 in Temple, Texas


TEMPLE, Texas – A man was killed Saturday afternoon after being struck by an 18-wheeler while attempting to cross Interstate 35 near exit 298 southbound.

Officers responded to the scene and identified the victim as 45-year-old Alex Armand of New York.

Authorities stated that the semi driver did not stop immediately after the collision and continued driving. The driver was later located near Salado and arrested for failure to stop and render aid involving personal injury or death.

When a Life Is Lost on the Road, the Surviving Family Deserves Answers

Tragic. Just tragic. What happened here? How did the semi-truck driver hit someone and not stop to render aid? We are left with many unanswered questions here.

Based on our experience handling similar cases, the trucking company may attempt to shift or minimize blame and avoid answering certain questions. This is not okay, and Mr. Armand’s family deserves answers and justice.
