Three People Killed in a Small Plane Accident Near the Intersection of Clark Road and Peacock Road in Bath Township, Michigan

Bath Township, Mich. — Authorities are investigating a fatal aircraft crash that left three people dead Thursday evening near the intersection of Clark Road and Peacock Road.

Bath Township Police reported that the small plane went down and all three individuals on board were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have not yet determined what led to the crash or the flight’s intended destination.

Fatal plane crashes need investigations to determine what went wrong

Small plane crashes leave behind a trail of devastation. Communities, coworkers, neighbors, friends, and especially families are left feeling the void left by these tragic incidents.

These crashes also leave everyone asking questions about what went wrong and how this could have happened in the first place. Finding the facts is vital for everyone, especially for immediate family members. Uncovering the truth following a fatal plane crash provides the family with answers and protects future passengers from danger. The aircraft repair company can provide valuable information. It will know what occurred in the moments leading up to the crash, including maintenance records and data from the black box. This information will be invaluable in determining whether the plane had a defect that caused it to crash. This happens more often than people realize.

Currently, our firm represents the families of two victims who lost their lives when an aircraft crashed into a lake. The plane went into an uncontrolled spin and crashed within minutes of takeoff. Evidence indicates the plane was allowed to fly despite known safety concerns, leading to a catastrophic failure that caused the tail section to separate from the fuselage. The victims remained secured in their seats as the wreckage sank to the bottom of the lake, requiring recovery by dive teams and sonar equipment. We are fighting for the surviving family to receive the justice and answers they deserve.

Plane crash cases are very complex and require seasoned professionals with extensive knowledge of aircraft failures and manufacturing defects. The families of plane crash victims deserve advocates who will fight for justice, hold those responsible accountable, and offer support throughout the legal journey.

We hope the surviving family finds the answers they need.
