Woman Seriously Injured in Accident Involving a Semi-Truck on Highway 54 in Callaway County, Missouri


CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — A woman was seriously injured Thursday morning in a collision with a semi-truck on Highway 54 at Route T.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash involved a 2012 Nissan Juke and a 2021 Peterbilt 579. Investigators said the semi-truck was attempting to cross westbound Highway 54 when the Nissan struck it.

The driver of the Nissan, a 34-year-old woman from Emden, sustained serious injuries and was taken for medical treatment.
