Huish Outdoors Recalls Allegedly Defective Oceanic Snorkels Due to Drowning Risk


SALT LAKE CITY – Huish Outdoors has announced a recall of Oceanic Adult Dry Top Snorkels after discovering a defect that can allow water to enter unexpectedly, posing a drowning hazard.

The recall applies to white-and-gray snorkels with a blue splash guard at the top and an oval-shaped, clear rubber purge valve at the bottom. Each snorkel measures about 16.5 inches in height. Affected products carry batch numbers 2038 through 2051 and 2102 through 2115, located above the flexible gray tubing.

The recalled snorkels were sold exclusively at Costco

Huish Outdoors has received 13 reports of the snorkels leaking through the bottom purge valve.
