VidaXL Recalls Allegedly Defective Pool Ladders Over Risk of Falls and Drowning


WASHINGTON – VidaXL has issued a recall of certain stainless steel pool ladders due to fall and drowning hazards.

According to CPSC, the ladder steps can loosen during use, increasing the risk of falls or drowning. VidaXL has received four incident reports of consumers falling from the ladders.

The recall involves two models of VidaXL steel A-frame ladders designed for above-ground pools. Each ladder measures about 47 inches high and includes two non-skid plastic steps in gray or blue on both sides. The affected products carry item numbers 93122 and 93188, printed alongside the vidaXL.com logo on the horizontal bar.

The recalled ladders were sold online through VidaXL’s website and other retailers nationwide.
