Matthew Jackson, John McBroom, and Casey Whitlock Killed, and Others Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Semi-trucks on I-64 in Lexington, Kentucky


LEXINGTON, Ky. — Authorities have identified the three people killed in a six-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 in Woodford County on Friday evening.

The Woodford County Coroner’s Office confirmed that 50-year-old Casey Whitlock, 43-year-old Matthew Jackson, and 39-year-old John McBroom died at the scene.

The collision involved four tractor-trailers and two passenger cars, sparking a fire that spread across the roadway.

Two of the victims were tractor-trailer drivers, while the third was inside a passenger car. Three others were injured, including one tractor-trailer driver and two occupants of a passenger car.
