TOPINCN Recalls Defective Pool Drain Covers Due to Entrapment Hazard


WASHINGTON — TOPINCN pool drain covers have been recalled after federal officials determined the products fail to meet entrapment protection standards.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the recalled drain covers pose an entrapment hazard to swimmers and bathers. The recall includes TOPINCN 1.5-inch and 3-inch round pool drain covers sold exclusively on Amazon.com by Sanure.

The affected products are made of white plastic and secured with two screws. The 1.5-inch drain cover measures about 4 inches across the outer diameter and 2 inches across the inner diameter. The 3-inch model measures approximately 5 inches in outer diameter and 3 inches in inner diameter.
