54-Year-Old Driver Killed After Possible Tire Blowout Accident on Interstate-20 in Atlanta, Georgia


ATLANTA, Ga. — A 54-year-old man was killed Saturday morning after a possible tire blowout caused him to lose control of his SUV on Interstate 20 in Atlanta.

Authorities said the SUV struck the center barrier before leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree, where it caught fire.

The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
