HEZI HOME Recalls Allegedly Defective Power Strips Over Electrocution Hazard

HEZI HOME has announced a recall of its HEZI-branded power strips due to a serious electrical safety concern that could put consumers at risk of electrocution.

According to recall information, the affected power strips feature a metal housing that is not adequately grounded. If the enclosure becomes energized, users could face a risk of severe injury or death from electric shock.

The recall applies to HEZI-brand power strips with a gray or yellow metal casing. Each unit has eight black plastic outlets and includes both a power switch and a circuit breaker switch located on the end of the housing nearest the power cord.
