JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A 39-year-old box truck driver was killed Tuesday morning after his vehicle left the travel lanes of Interstate 95 and struck the rear of a tractor-trailer parked in an emergency lane.
Authorities said the Miami man was driving a box truck north on I-95 near State Road 9B when the box truck drifted into the emergency lane and struck the rear of a parked semi-truck’s trailer.
The box truck driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
