RootStim Recalls Allegedly Defective Beard Growth Serum Spray Bottles Over Child Poisoning Risk

RootStim has issued a recall of its beard growth serum spray bottles after determining that the product does not meet federal child-resistant packaging requirements, posing a serious poisoning hazard to young children.

The recalled serum contains minoxidil, an active ingredient that must be sold in child-resistant packaging under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. Because children can easily open the spray bottles, there is a risk of severe injury or death if the contents are swallowed.

The recall applies to RootStim Beard Growth Serum with 5% Minoxidil sold in spray bottles. The product was packaged in black boxes with orange and white text and an orange mustache icon on the front.
