YCXXKJ Recalls Allegedly Defective Baby Bath Seats Due to Drowning Risk to Children

WASHINGTON — YCXXKJ baby bath seats have been recalled after safety officials determined the products pose a serious risk of injury or death to infants due to instability during use.

According to federal regulators, the bath seats do not meet mandatory safety standards for infant bath seats because they can tip over, creating a drowning hazard.

The recall involves YCXXKJ-branded bath seats sold in blue, gray, pink, and yellow, featuring two detachable arms intended as restraints, four suction cups on the base, and three attached toys shaped like a duck, turtle, and whale. A tracking label on the back of the product lists the model number as YD-1958.
