BMW Recalls Nearly 90,000 Allegedly Defective Vehicles Due to Fire and Injury Risk


BMW of North America has announced a recall of nearly 90,000 vehicles in the United States due to a potential fire hazard linked to the engine starter system.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), approximately 87,394 vehicles are affected. The recall stems from an issue in which the engine starter may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
