CULLMAN, Ala. — A motorcyclist died following a collision with a semi-truck on Alabama Highway 157 in Cullman.

According to the Cullman Police Department, the crash occurred when a tractor-trailer traveling southbound on Highway 157 attempted to make a left turn onto County Road 1339. At the same time, a motorcycle traveling northbound struck the truck during the turn.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
