Two Injured in a Semi-Truck Accident on U.S. 61 in Lincoln County, Missouri


LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were injured Monday evening in a collision involving a tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 61.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a semi-truck and a 2026 Kia Sportage were both traveling northbound when the commercial vehicle passed the Kia in the left lane and changed lanes to the right and struck the Kia.

The Kia was occupied by a 33-year-old man who was driving and a 32-year-old female passenger. Authorities classified the injuries as moderate.
