Rotinyard Recalls Allegedly Defective Convertible High Chairs Due to Fall and Entrapment Hazards


WASHINGTON — Rotinyard has announced a recall of its convertible baby high chairs sold on Amazon after federal regulators determined the products violate the mandatory safety standard for high chairs.

Officials report that the chairs were sold without the required attached restraint system, creating a severe fall risk for infants. Regulators also warn that a child’s head can become trapped in the opening between the seat and tray, posing a potentially fatal entrapment hazard.

The recall covers beige and pink convertible high chairs equipped with a matching removable seat cushion, detachable tray, and footrest. The chairs can recline, collapse, and convert into an infant swing. A tracking label on the seatback reads “Product No.: HA-028.”
