Amp Fit Recalls Allegedly Defective AMP Smart Fitness Machines Due to Laceration and Serious Injury Risks


WASHINGTON — Amp Fit has announced a recall of its AMP Smart Fitness Machines after reports that a component can fail to lock properly, creating a risk of lacerations and serious injuries.

According to safety officials, the adjustable arm may not lock as intended during use. Amp Fit has received multiple reports of the arm failing to secure, resulting in lacerations and other injuries to users.

The recall involves the MP2 model of the AMP Smart Fitness Machine, a wall-mounted strength-training device designed to provide full-body, resistance-based workouts. The machine features an adjustable arm and connects to the Amp Fit digital app for guided, personalized training.
