Ningbo Tianqi Electronic Recalls Allegedly Defective FUFU&GAGA Murphy Wall Beds Due to Risk of Crushing Injuries and Laceration Hazards


Ningbo Tianqi Electronic has announced a recall of certain FUFU&GAGA Murphy wall beds after reports that the bed’s frame can collapse during assembly, creating a serious risk of impact, crushing injuries, and lacerations. The company warns that the 215-pound frame may fall if the unit is not secured to the wall as required.

The recall applies to white wood-frame Murphy beds sold in a queen-size configuration. These wall-mounted units fold vertically into a cabinet and measure approximately 86 inches tall and 65 inches wide. The model number KF210284US-01MH-A001 appears on the product’s packaging and instruction materials.

The company has received two incident reports of beds falling while being assembled, unanchored to the wall. Injuries include lacerations, bruising, and a facial injury.
