CheerKid Baby Bath Seats Sold on Amazon by Babibaby and Woot Recalled Over Drowning Risk to Infants


UNITED STATES — CheerKid baby bath seats have been recalled due to safety concerns that the products can become unstable and tip over during use, creating a risk of serious injury or drowning to infants.

The recalled bath seats do not comply with the federal safety standard for infant bath seats.

The recall applies to CheerKid-branded baby bath seats sold in gray, pink, and light blue. The seats feature five suction cups on the base and include a multi-colored, abacus-style rolling toy attached to the front. The model number “BH-222” appears on a label located on the back of the seat.

The products were sold online, including through Amazon by Babibaby and Woot.
