BBWOO Baby Loungers Recalled Over Infant Entrapment and Fall Hazards


BBWOO baby loungers sold through Amazon by LSY Direct have been recalled after safety officials determined the products do not meet mandatory federal standards for infant sleep products, creating serious risks of injury or death.

According to the recall notice, the baby loungers have design flaws that can endanger infants. The loungers’ sides are too low to contain a baby properly, and the openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than permitted under safety regulations. These issues increase the risk of falls and entrapment.

In addition, the loungers do not include a stand, which creates a fall hazard if the product is placed on elevated surfaces. Together, these violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants.

The recall involves BBWOO baby loungers made with a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers covered in fabric. Each lounger has a ribbon tie at one end. The model number can be found on a tracking label stitched onto the outside cover.

The recalled styles and model numbers include:
