Beaumont Man Killed in Accident with Dump Truck on Highway 87 Near Sabine Pass, Texas

SABINE PASS, Texas — A 67-year-old Beaumont man was killed Friday afternoon in a collision involving a passenger car and a dump truck on State Highway 87 near Sea Rim.

According to reports, the dump truck was pulling out of a private driveway and entering Highway 87 when it began traveling east. A passenger car was also traveling east on the highway and collided with the rear of the dump truck.

The 67-year-old driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene.
