17 Stories Furniture has announced a recall of its 18-drawer dressers after determining the products pose a serious risk of tip-over and entrapment, which could lead to severe injuries or death, particularly to children.

According to the recall notice, the dressers are unstable unless secured to a wall. The products do not meet the mandatory safety requirements for clothing storage units under the STURDY Act.

The recall applies to 17 Stories Furniture 18-drawer dressers sold in black, brown, and gray. The dressers feature a metal frame, a wooden top, and 18 collapsible fabric drawers. The following model numbers are associated with the recalled products: HI1382_13, HI1382_01, and HI1382_09. These identifiers are printed on a label located on the outer packaging.
