Evajoy Recalls Allegedly Defective Above-Ground Pools Due to Child Drowning Hazard

UNITED STATES — Evajoy above-ground swimming pools measuring 48 inches or taller are being recalled after safety officials determined that a compression strap surrounding the outside of the pool may create a foothold that allows children to climb into the water unattended, even when the ladder has been removed, creating a serious drowning hazard.

The recall involves Evajoy above-ground pools manufactured by Shenzhen Danya Tech. Affected models include EJ-HF032, EJ-HF044, and EJ-HF045.
