LFTE USA Recalls Allegedly Defective Playground Swing Set Seats Due to Fall Hazard


UNITED STATES — LFTE USA is recalling certain playground swing set seats after safety officials warned that the seats may break during use, posing a fall hazard to children.

According to the recall notice, the rivets used to support the swing seats can fail unexpectedly, potentially causing children to fall while swinging.

The recall involves Playground Swing Set Seats sold as part of assembled playground sets. The recalled belt-style swing seats were sold in black, blue, green, red, tan, and yellow. The affected products are marked with code “LF-65708” on the seat pad and include only model number 999604.

Officials said the company received at least one report of a swing seat breaking during use, resulting in a child falling.
