Personal Injury Lawyers File Lawsuit Against Dome Energy and Al’s Sports Bar After Drunk Driving Crash Causes Serious Injuries

The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit seeking justice in a devastating drunk-driving crash that occurred in Harris County, Texas. The lawsuit names Dome Energy, Inc., 3AM Enterprises Inc. d/b/a Al’s Sports Bar, and other defendants following a serious collision on Westheimer Road.

According to court documents, an employee of Dome Energy allegedly operated a company-owned GMC Yukon XL while intoxicated at more than twice the legal limit. The driver allegedly made an illegal U-turn, causing a collision with another vehicle. The lawsuit alleges that prior to the crash, the driver had been entertaining clients at Al’s Sports Bar, where he was allegedly overserved alcohol while conducting business on behalf of Dome Energy.

The lawsuit brings claims of negligent entrustment against Dome Energy. Court filings indicate that despite having knowledge of the driver’s alleged history of ten moving violations and multiple license suspensions, Dome Energy continued to allow him to operate company vehicles. The complaint further alleges that Dome Energy failed to properly supervise the employee’s use of company vehicles and failed to enforce safety policies regarding alcohol use.

The legal action also targets Al’s Sports Bar under Texas dram shop laws, claiming the establishment allegedly served alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person. The lawsuit contends this alleged negligence contributed to the crash.
