Adams Manufacturing Recalls Allegedly Defective Adirondack Patio Chairs Over Fall and Injury Concerns


Adams Manufacturing has issued a recall of certain Adirondack-style patio chairs after reports that the chairs can crack and unexpectedly give way, creating a risk of falls and injuries.

The recall covers resin Adirondack chairs sold under the Adams RealComfort and StyleWell brand names. The chairs feature slatted backs and seats and were sold in several colors, including blue, dark gray, navy blue, taupe, light blue, lime green, and teal.

According to the recall notice, affected chairs may develop cracks that can lead to structural failure while in use, causing the chair to collapse beneath the user.

The recalled chairs can be identified by the marking “ML837-15” molded on the underside. The manufacturing date is also molded into the bottom of the chair and is shown by a dot on a grid at the intersection of column “A” and row “25, indicating an August 2025 production date.
