KingPavonini Recalls Adult Portable Bed Rails Sold on Amazon Due to Entrapment and Asphyxiation Hazards

WASHINGTON — KingPavonini has announced a recall of six models of its adult portable bed rails sold on Amazon, citing a serious safety risk involving entrapment and potential asphyxiation. Federal regulators report that the bed rails do not meet the mandatory safety standard for adult portable bed rails.

The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard because users can become trapped within the rail or between the rail and the side of the mattress, creating a risk of serious injury or death from asphyxiation. The products also lack the required hazard warning labels.

This recall involves six KingPavonini-branded adult portable bed rails with model numbers BC-CBJ-X, BC-CBJ, BC-LDFS-X, LDFS-SSK, 04-BC-LDFS, and BC-LDFS. The products feature white or black tubing, rounded black foam handle grips, and a black fabric pouch. Some versions include support legs or motion-sensor lights. Each recalled rail has “KingPavonini” printed on the fabric cover.

The recalled bed rails were sold on Amazon.com from June 2024 through May 2025 for between $30 and $85.
