Romorgniz Recalls Allegedly Defective 12- and 13-Drawer Dressers for Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards

WASHINGTON – Romorgniz has announced a recall of select 12- and 13-drawer fabric dressers sold on Amazon after federal safety officials determined the units pose a tip-over and entrapment risk to children and fail to meet mandatory stability standards required under the STURDY Act.

According to the recall notice, the dressers can become unstable when not anchored to a wall, creating the potential for serious injury or death if they fall onto a child. The products do not comply with the federal safety requirements for clothing storage units.

The recall applies to Romorgniz fabric dressers featuring a metal frame, wooden top, and collapsible fabric drawers. The units were sold in rustic brown, black, pink, and white.
• The 12-drawer model, marked “Model No.: R99MWM12CHMW” on the back, measures approximately 52 inches by 12 inches by 35 inches.
• The 13-drawer model, marked “Model No.: R99M9C4CLHW,” measures approximately 35 inches by 11 inches by 55 inches.
