Man Killed in Accident with Work Truck that Strikes Vehicle on Interstate 10 in Northwest San Antonio, Texas

SAN ANTONIO — A man died following a crash Thursday morning along Interstate 10 on the city’s far northwest side, according to the San Antonio Police Department. Officers said the collision occurred on I-10 East near Dominion Drive.

According to reports, a white truck and a black Ford F-250 were initially involved in a minor crash. The driver of the F-250 pulled over following the collision.

Police said the driver of the white truck exited his vehicle and then returned to it in an effort to move it. At that point, authorities say a work truck traveling at highway speed struck him from behind.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.
