Cervelio Garcia Guzman Killed in Workplace Accident at AEP Facility in Kingsville, Texas

KINGSVILLE, Texas — A truck driver died in a workplace accident Thursday at an AEP Texas facility in Kingsville, according to local authorities. The incident happened at the facility located at 2600 E. Corral Avenue.

Officials said the victim, identified as Cervelio Garcia Guzman of Laredo, had just completed a delivery of equipment using a tractor-trailer. He was preparing the trailer to leave the yard when he became pinned underneath it.

An AEP employee discovered Garcia Guzman a short time later. Additional details about how the incident occurred have not been released.
