Two Injured After Accident with Disabled Semi-truck on Interstate 20 in Flowers, Mississippi

FLOWERS, Miss. — Two people were taken to a hospital Sunday evening following a crash involving a disabled 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 near the Flowers exit.

Authorities reported that the tractor-trailer had broken down along the eastbound lanes of I-20. The truck driver had contacted a towing service and was waiting for assistance when a passenger vehicle struck the semi.

Both occupants of the passenger vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials have not released information regarding their current conditions.
