Mobi Games Recalls Zippee Silicone Activity Toys Due to Choking Hazard

WASHINGTON – Federal safety officials have announced a recall of Zippee silicone activity toys imported by Mobi Games after determining the toys pose a serious choking hazard to young children and do not comply with required toy safety standards. The recall follows a report of a child choking on one of the toy’s spherical ends.

The toys feature a teal silicone cylinder with six colorful pull strings, five of which have rounded silicone ends. These spherical ends can reach the back of a child’s throat, creating a risk of choking or life-threatening injury.

The recalled units may include date codes on the inside of the cylinder ranging from 030620 to 110823.
