Javier Gardea Killed in Work Accident After Being Struck by Dump Truck on Highway 75 in Tulsa, Oklahoma

TULSA, Oklahoma — A construction worker was killed Thursday afternoon after being struck by a dump truck at a roadwork site along U.S. Highway 75. The incident happened near 51st Street, where multiple workers were present as part of an ongoing construction project.

Authorities reported that the worker was struck by a dump truck backing up at the time of the incident. The man was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries.

Officials later identified the victim as 22-year-old Javier Gardea.
