Personal Injury Attorneys File Lawsuit Against D.W. Industries After Houston Commercial Vehicle Crash

The Ammons Law Firm filed a lawsuit against D.W. Industries, Inc., following a serious commercial vehicle accident on Wallisville Road in Houston, Texas. According to the lawsuit, a Ford F550 super-duty vehicle owned by D.W. Industries allegedly rear-ended another vehicle stopped at a red light.

The lawsuit claims that the commercial driver failed to control his speed and struck the stopped vehicle with tremendous force, causing severe injuries to its occupant. The impact caused traumatic injuries to the victim’s cervical spine, lumbar spine, and right shoulder, requiring ongoing medical treatment.

The Ammons Law Firm is pursuing claims against D.W. Industries under multiple legal theories, including vicarious liability for its driver’s actions under the legal doctrine of respondeat superior, as the driver was allegedly acting within the scope of his employment at the time of the crash.

According to the lawsuit, the company allegedly failed to properly train and supervise its driver, maintain adequate safety policies, and ensure its vehicle would be driven properly. The lawsuit further alleges that D.W. Industries knew or should have known that entrusting their vehicle to this driver created an unreasonable risk of harm to others on the road.
