Truck Accident Lawyers File Lawsuit Against Ryder Truck Rentals Following Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash

The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit in New Mexico following a devastating multi-vehicle truck crash on Interstate 40 that left a Texas resident with serious injuries. The April 2024 incident in Cibola County has resulted in legal action against Ryder Truck Rentals, Estes Express Lines, and Denyz Enterprises.

According to the lawsuit, a Texas resident was parked on the shoulder of westbound Interstate 40 when a commercial truck driver operating a 2023 Freightliner crashed into the vehicle.

The lawsuit alleges that the commercial driver was negligent by traveling at unsafe speeds, failing to maintain proper lookout, operating while distracted and inattentive, and causing preventable collisions. Beyond individual driver negligence, the lawsuit alleges that Ryder Truck Rentals failed to properly train, hire, monitor, and supervise its drivers.

The plaintiff is seeking compensation for extensive damages, including medical expenses, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, disfigurement, and loss of income and earning capacity.
