Takata Airbag Recall Lawyer Rob Ammons Talks to NBC
Rob Ammons' client Stephanie Erdman talks about shrapnel from an exploding Takata Airbag damaging her face and the recall most drivers don't know about.
Erdman lost part of her eyesight and had multiple reconstructive surgeries to rebuild her eyelid after the accident. Airbag defect attorney Rob Ammons represents Erdman in a lawsuit against Takata Corp. and Honda, claiming the airbag's inflator was faulty, causing it to rupture.
12 million vehicles, dating back to 2001, were made with these Takata model airbags. All are covered in a recent worldwide recall.
