MEET Sammy Rajaratnam

Sammy is an experienced litigator who spent the first handful of years of his practice representing almost exclusively large businesses in commercial litigation.  His first jury trial, however, involved representing an individual in a highly contested and prolonged pro bono case.  This experience showed him how rewarding it can be to advocate for individuals and see the direct, genuine impact that the legal system can have on someone’s life.  With a deep understanding of complex legal challenges from his previous role, Sammy now dedicates his practice to helping individuals and families who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of large companies.

With a background that includes serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeff Manske in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Sammy is well acquainted with the judicial system and all stages of the litigation process.

Sammy graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School and served as an Articles Editor on Baylor Law Review. While in law school, Sammy earned the title of Best Speaker in the Chicago Bar Association National Moot Court Competition and was the Finalist in Baylor Law School’s “Mad Dog” Mock Trial Competition.
