Biography

Herbie is an experienced litigator who began his legal career defending some of the world’s largest companies against significant claims, often in excess of $100 million. In 2024, he joined The Ammons Law Firm to provide top-of-the-line representation to individuals and their families who have been injured by the misconduct of others.

Herbie is originally from South Texas, having grown up in Rio Grande City and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013. He received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2016, where he served as a Technical Editor for the Baylor Law Review.

After law school, Herbie moved to Houston to join the litigation department of an international law firm. He spent the next seven years representing companies before courts and arbitration tribunals across the country. During that time, Herbie gained extensive trial experience, second-chairing four trials and assisting several other trial teams with all aspects of trial. His legal work has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, who named him “One to Watch” in Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation for both 2023 and 2024.
