Luis Fabrega is a trial lawyer with almost three decades of experience
in Texas courtrooms. Luis has tried over 100 lawsuits to verdict. He also
has significant experience resolving cases through alternative dispute
resolution, including over 300 cases settled through mediation or concluded
by arbitration. Luis’ practice is focused on wrongful death, personal
injury, and commercial litigation on behalf of individual and business
Luis was born in Panama, came to the U.S. as a child with his family, and
grew up in Louisiana. After high school, Luis became a United States Marine.
His military service included an overseas deployment to the Persian Gulf,
where he participated in anti-tank combat infantry operations. Before
becoming a lawyer, Luis worked in the oilfield services industry as an
electrician’s helper and welder’s helper, and as an educator
in the school district where he attended high school.
After graduating law school, Luis moved to Texas and joined a large Houston
law firm with a focus on personal injury litigation. Luis then started
his own law firm, which he co-managed for over twenty years. At The Ammons
