Biography
Matt McKinnon’s well-rounded background, unwavering commitment to the practice of law, and proven track record in handling complex disputes make him an invaluable asset to The Ammons Law Firm and a dedicated advocate for our clients during their most challenging life events.
During Matt’s first years of practice, he represented large businesses in complex commercial disputes involving energy, construction, and managed care. He managed various aspects of pre-trial practice, with an emphasis on case development, motion practice, e-discovery, and third-party discovery.
Matt graduated summa cum laude from Baylor Law School, ranking first in his class, and served as an Articles Editor on Baylor Law Review. While in Waco, Matt interned for the Honorable Alan. D. Albright, gaining invaluable experience in researching and drafting orders in various areas of the law. As an undergraduate, Matt played baseball for the Quakers at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
