BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas—Wenjun Li, 53, was pronounced dead, and Jesus Sic, 21, was injured in a multi-vehicle accident. The crash occurred around 3:05 p.m. on August 22, 2022, on Highway 6, near Farm-to-Market 2154.
According to initial reports, a Dodge Charger, driven by Sic, a Jeep Cherokee, and a Toyota Tacoma were traveling on Highway 6 when the Jeep attempted to change lanes. The Jeep then struck Sic and then hit the Tacoma. The crash caused Sic to cross over the center median and strike another car head-on, which was driven by Li.
The drivers of the Jeep and the Tacoma were uninjured in the crash. Li suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the accident. Sic was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health for treatment of serious injuries.
