Suit Filed for Texas Woman Injured by Wrong-Way Driver


While driving on a state highway, a Texas woman’s sedan was hit head-on by another vehicle driving the wrong way on a one-way road. The damage to the sedan was extensive, and the woman (54) sustained multiple serious injuries requiring her to be life-flighted to the hospital from the scene.

Rob Ammons filed suit against both the wrong-way driver and the owner of the vehicle that the wrong-way driver was driving at the time of the collision. In the lawsuit, it is alleged that the driver was negligent for driving the wrong way and in failing to take evasive action to avoid striking the sedan. Allegations against the owner include negligently entrusting the vehicle to the wrong-way driver and giving her permission to operate his vehicle.
