Aramark Pays Man Injured in Wharton County Crash

The Ammons Law Firm has concluded a lawsuit filed on behalf of a 57-year-old Texas man who was seriously injured when his pickup was rear-ended by a commercial vehicle.

Rob Ammons claimed in the lawsuit that Aramark’s driver was negligent and reckless in failing to control his speed, keep a proper lookout, timely apply his brakes or take evasive action to avoid the collision. It was also alleged that the company failed to properly hire, train and monitor its drivers. The driver was on the job at the time of this collision, making Aramark legally responsible for his negligence.

The man suffered a ruptured rotator cuff in the crash and required two surgeries to repair the damage. Medical expenses of over $36,000 were incurred for necessary treatment.
