People injured in tire-related accidents deserve justice for the injuries they have suffered.
Tire failure accidents like this one happen every day all over the country. In fact, in 2021, 662 people died in tire-related crashes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Countless more suffered serious injuries. Many of these crashes are caused by defective tires.
These preventable accidents underscore the importance of tire safety and a manufacturer’s responsibility to produce roadworthy products that consumers can use safely. Any loss of life or serious injury suffered because of a defective tire is unacceptable, and tire manufacturers who cause loss of life or injury should be held accountable.
As professionals conduct a thorough investigation, manufacturers nationwide must evaluate their products and processes to ensure that these kinds of accidents no longer occur. As attorneys with knowledge and experience in tire defect litigation, we offer our support and assistance to the injured and their families as they seek justice in the aftermath of this crash.
