Fred Gunn Jr. Dies in a Head-on Collision Caused by a Ford Pickup Tire Blowout on State Highway 21, Crockett, Texas


Crockett, Texas — A man died when the 2013 Ford pickup truck he was traveling in had a tire blowout. The blowout caused the pickup truck to swing into oncoming traffic, colliding with a 2019 Freightliner semi-trailer and then catching fire.

 The Ford pickup truck driver, Fred Gunn Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi-trailer was unharmed in the accident.
