One Person Killed by Semi-Truck on I-476 in Montgomery County Salford Township, Pennsylvania

Salford Township, Pennsylvania —  A person died after being struck by a semi-truck on Friday near mile marker 36.4 on I-476.

According to reports, a utility service truck carrying a driver and a passenger pulled over to the side of the road to inspect a potentially unsecured load. As the passenger exited the vehicle to check on the load, a semi-truck driver drifted into the shoulder, striking the passenger and killing them instantly at the scene.
