Six People Hurt in Flash Fire at Explorer Pipeline Site in Port Arthur, Texas


Port Arthur, Texas — A flash fire at a Port Arthur pipeline site left six individuals injured. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday while welders worked on a pipeline at the Explorer Pipeline site.

Four people were hospitalized at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas, and two other individuals were taken to the burn center in Galveston.

According to reports, the fire has been contained, and there is no risk to the surrounding area.

No further details have been provided.
