Truck Driver Injured in an Accident with Another Semi-Truck on Route 35 near Frankfort, Ohio


Frankfort, Ohio — A man was airlifted to a trauma hospital after a semi-truck struck his semi-truck near Frankfort. The incident took place at approximately 1:30 a.m.

According to reports, a semi-truck hauling an empty trailer was entering the highway’s on-ramp from State Route 138 when it collided with the rear of a semi-tanker parked along the on-ramp. The driver of the tanker was inside the sleeper cab at the time of the impact.

The collision force caused the semi-truck, identified as a Super Ego Transport vehicle, to veer off the ramp, overturn, and land in a nearby field. Extrication efforts were initiated.
