Ford F-250 Pickup Driver Hospitalized After Rollover Accident on Highway 180 in Fresno, California

Fresno, California — One person was hospitalized after a rollover accident left them pinned inside the truck. The incident took place on Highway 180 around 4:30 p.m.

According to reports, the involved vehicle, a Ford F-250, had all four tires missing.

Thoughts on Trucks and Rollover Accidents

Did this car function as designed? Many times in rollover accidents, the injuries are caused by a defective vehicle. This is unacceptable. Vehicles should properly work when put to the test. This means airbags should deploy, seatbelts should restrain, and roofs should stay intact.

Unfortunately, some trucks and SUVs have safety features that fail to function correctly. When this happens, the manufacturers of the vehicle can be held accountable. Manufacturers have a duty to produce vehicles that protect their passengers and do not cause them devastating injuries or death.

Trained professionals will need to conduct an investigation to determine if the pickup truck was defective and was the cause of the injury in this incident. If the truck proves to be defective, the manufacturer should be held accountable for the faulty product that caused injury.
