Thoughts on Rollover Accidents
Most people assume the driver is wholly at fault for the injuries suffered in a rollover accident. But this is not always the case. The truth is the cause of an injury in a rollover accident may be a defective vehicle.
The cause of injury will examine whether the car functioned as designed. For example, when put to the test, did the seatbelts restrain, the airbags deploy, and the roof stays intact? Some models, bodies, and makes are unable to withstand the impact of a rollover, and the roofs of these models end up crushing or collapsing, causing serious injuries and death. Other times, seatbelts fail to restrain, causing passengers to be ejected. This is unacceptable. Manufacturers are responsible for producing vehicles that will protect their occupants and not cause them additional harm.
Since we do not have any details on the make or model of the vehicle in this incident, we cannot draw any conclusions. Trained professionals will need to conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the injury was caused by a defective vehicle. If this is the case, the manufacturer should be held accountable for their flawed product that has caused harm.
